Life at Good Earth

The Persona…

There is no school uniform. Students are, however, expected to dress appropriately for school. Parents should take care to ensure simplicity and choose dresses, which correspond with the weather conditions. The intention of not insisting on uniform is to help children learn the art of dressing as befitting their role, with attention to colour, form, design and taste. Casual wear of any kind is not permitted. Proper footwear is expected to be worn. Parents may contact the Class Teacher for further advice.

The Feel…

Good Earth School is a progressive, child-centered co-educational private school, committed to providing holistic education for all its pupils. At Good Earth, the learning process is seen as one that is both challenging and enjoyable. The school thinks that education should foster creativity, independent thinking, exploration and questioning as a lifelong process. The intention is to provide an atmosphere free of authority and fear which enables the child to grow and flower in goodness.

The Camaraderie…

Among Students: Students come from diverse backgrounds and with different academic abilities, but they find comfort in knowing that no division lasts in an atmosphere where affection abounds.
Among Teachers: We value our most valuable resources – our teachers. They, in turn, not only transact the curriculum but also generate an enthusiasm for learning and questioning. Teacher training programmes and workshops attended at different venues especially the schools run by KFI are a regular feature to ensure that the faculty keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field of education.
With Parents: Parents of Good Earth are truly the pillars of strength for the institution as they lend their valuable support to all our endeavours, both academic and non-academic. The relationship between the institution and the parents is forged on the anvil of mutual respect.
