Celebrations

Our school joyfully celebrated three significant occasions in one special day:

  • Onam, Kerala’s harvest festival, marked by Pookolam (flower designs) and traditional lamps.
  • Krishna Jayanthi, honouring Lord Krishna’s birth with festive sweets.
  • Teacher’s Day, dedicated to appreciating our educators’ dedication and hard work.

Grade 11 students took over classroom teaching duties, allowing teachers to join in creating beautiful Pookolam. Students of all ages participated in crafting these floral designs, followed by games organized by Grade 11.

The day featured cultural presentations related to each festival. A highlight was the Uri Aadi game, where Grade 12 student – and then teachers – took turns trying to break a hanging pot with a stick. The celebration concluded with a special festive lunch, fostering a spirit of togetherness and tradition across our school community.
